I bought a chocolate bar at a gas station yesterday. The wrapper advertised a contest - but it ended DEC 2006! Which got me thinking… how long are chocolate bars good for?

my birthday is in 2 months, ill be turning 13 and its going to be a rave themed party this is what i have planned so far:

decorations:

strobe lights
disco balls
light up disco balls
black lights
christmas lights
glow sticks

games:

spin the bottle
guitar hero
dance dance revolution
twister
somebodies gonna start juking
silly string fight
and then we’re gonna watch a movie towards the end of the party when guests are leaving

food/drinks:

pizza
virgin cocktail drinks
jones soda
finger sandwiches
chips
soda
fruit platter
veggi platter
cookies
cupcakes

anything else you can think of?
and whats an appropriate time to end the party?
if it starts at around 3:30 it will be on a saturday!
its going to be in december.
in my basement [rave themed so obviously underground get it?] wow im lame XD

For my Society and Culture PIP (Personal Interest Project) we have to - here’s the surprise - choose a personal interest to do a research project on. Bet you never saw that coming. But here’s my problem; I have no idea what to do!
So far -
General area of topic, and my personal interest:
Pop bands, and how they are influenced by traditional culture. I have a love of both American and Korean pop music, and have noticed how similar, yet different, they sound. Wondered about conformity and loyalty conflict.

Specific topic statement or question:
Is current pop music connected to traditional roots?

Specific aims of research and goals:
To discover if Current pop music has specific traditional roots, and is influenced more by it’s past or present. Also to find the way current music influences each other across the world. To determine how much the Asian music scene is suffering from Westernization.

How my topic related to 3-4 specific Society and Culture concepts:
My topic relates to continuity and change, tradition, identity, and westernization

Cross cultural perspective of my topic:
I am using both the Western (America) and Asian (Korea) worlds to maintain a crossed perspective.

Primary and secondary methodologies I think I shall use:
Survey - to discuss the awareness of Asian Vs American pop music scene. To find connections with older music.
Case study - Possibly. to find the fame and independence levels of bands. Find roots of the music style.
Statistical analysis - Finding what money has to do with it, a ratio of who listens to Western versus Asian, has business success gone up with the rush of pop music
Personal Reflection - Well, I always have valued my own opinion
Secondary Research - To give it more bulk

So that’s about it. Only, I’m not sure that if in 3 terms (ie, the forever that comes too soon) I will have good enough info on this?
My interesta are mainly -
Korean pop music, artists such as Super Junior, DBSK, SHINee, Shinhwa, Ha Dong Kyun and BoA.
American music, with artists such as Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is…, Panic At The Disco, Jonas Brothers and The Audition.
The way music relates and connects people regardless of barriers that may be formed in other means of communication (Like, I know about 10 words in Korean. Max. But I love the music. Still stuck in the 90’s)

So ok, I know this question is kinda long, but if you have any suggestions, be it fixing up details or changing my topic completely, please get back to me.
Is there anyway YOU could improve this? I failed Yr11, I don’t want Yr12 to be a repeat.
